Rachael Haar, PAS

Founder & Independent Equine Nutritionist
BCS 5.0 Equine Nutrition

With a background in equine science and animal nutrition, along with professional experience in the equine feed industry, I bring both scientific knowledge and practical application to every educational engagement.

As an independent equine nutritionist, my work is centered around forage analysis, individualized feeding programs, and evidence -based nutritional recommendations.

I believe that education should be more than information presented on a screen. My goal is to always create an engaging learning environment where attendees can ask questions, participate in demonstrations, and develop a stronger understanding of the nutritional decisions they make for their horses.

Hands- on equine nutrition education rooted in science.

An interactive approach to equine nutrition education.

More than a presentation

I take pride in creating educational experiences that encourage participation rather than passive listening.

Depending on the topic and event format, my seminars incorporate hands-on learning with live horses, practical demonstrations, real-world case examples, and open discussion.

From playing with a hay probe, to assessing body condition, learning body weight methods and understanding nutritional requirements, attendees have the opportunity to connect the science with its practical application.

My goal is for participants to leave with a deeper understanding of equine nutrition and the confidence to make mor e informed feeding and management decisions.
