Virtual Balanced Diet Reports are available nationwide, giving horse owners access to personalized, science-based nutrition support from anywhere in the country.
Through our virtual process, we guide you step-by-step in collecting important information such as body condition score, body weight, forage intake, feed and supplement evaluation, and hay testing.

Educational and informative presentations for youth camps, boarding barns, meetings, and more! Seminars typically focus on basic nutrition such as body condition scoring skills and how to obtain body weight methods. Each attendee will receive a BCS branded folder with the tools needed to participate in our interactive seminars. Seminars can be hosted within the U.S and will travel upon request.

the bcs 5.0 process
We begin the process with an on-site or virtual consultation. Both of these will require the horse information such as the body condition score, a body weight and photos.
Next we will need your feed program information along with the weights of each product in which you are feeding your horse. We will also require a forage sample taken by BCS 5.0 with our forage probe or a grab sample taken by you, if virtual.
All of this information is used to run a diet report for your horse to check for nutrient deficiencies or excesses- such as energy, protein, vitamins and minerals.
Our diet reports are discussed together in person or virtually and are 12-14 pages in length. The report will include a balanced diet for your horse whether that is tweaking your current feed program, a brand new program, or anything in between. We are truly here to balance your horse's diet in a way that makes you feel good and that is sustainable for both you and your horse.
